About BRAC Afghanistan:

BRAC is a nongovernmental development organization originated in Bangladesh and currently working in 10 countries in Asia and Africa. BRAC began its operation in Afghanistan in 2002, has been implementing its development programs in education, health, citizens’ charter Afghanistan programme as well as capacity development in the country.

Job Description:

• Drive carefully.

• Maintain traffic rules.

• Maintain Log book regularly.

• Maintain official time-table.

• Follow all official order properly.

• Attend in instructed time to pick the passenger.

• Do not drive in over speed.

• Maintain the requisition slip while going out of office campus

• Should not take the vehicle out of office campus without the requisition slip.

• Check the vehicle and all the necessary papers before starting a journey.

• To take care of all vehicles; prepare it for field trips (ensuring sufficient vehicle maintenance prior to trip, availability of spare tires, first-aid kits, snow-chains, etc.), maintain it during trip (including secure parking) and clean the vehicle on completion of trip

• To wash his vehicle and keep clean it all the time

• To supply goods/cash to the project site with the help of suppliers

• To report his arrival and departure from any regional offices to transport officer

• Too keep full his car’s fuel tank in any time.

• Keep functions the car front glass cleaner blade.

• Keep full of water the car glass cleaner water tank.

• Keep functions all the tools in the care (Polari, Chain, Cable, wrench seats)

• Working at the weakened days are entitle of overtime.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5-7 years experience in running vehicle

• Proven working experience as a delivery driver

• Valid professional driver’s licence

• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Good driving record with no traffic violations
