Job Description
The All About Photo Magazine Photo Contest is now accepting applications. Understanding shape and form is one of the pillars of photo composition, and it can elevate even the most mundane subjects to the level of art. Organically, positively or negatively, geometric forms influence the amount to which aesthetic beauty is perceived when viewing a photograph for the first time.
Send them your best images in which shapes not only influence but also serve as the sole subject.
They are open to all genres and like discovering the greatest and most intriguing projects from around the world, whether in architecture, portrait, landscape, nude, street, or any other kind of photography – traditional or experimental.
All About Photo (AAP) was founded on the observation that no website on the internet aggregates portfolios, photo labs, frame shops, equipment and studio rentals, camera repair shops, schools, agencies, museums, galleries, institutes and centers, photo contests, portfolio reviews, exhibitions, fairs and festivals, books, online and print magazines, interviews and articles. All-encompassing newspapers and photography-related news in one location. Their mission is to inform, educate, and inspire people about photography.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The Shapes photo contest is open to all entrants 18 years of age or older.
- It is open to professional and non-professional photographers.
- There is no restriction on the type of photo taken; Photography can be classic or experimental.
- Please send them a cohesive set of work or portfolio. Only a unified group of photos will be published in AAP Magazine. Images previously published in AAP Magazine cannot be resubmitted.
- Applicants can submit up to 40 images. Photos will be evaluated individually in the first round, followed by a unified group of photos as they may be published in AAP Magazine.
Benefits:
- The first winner will receive a cash prize of US$500. Their interview and the winning photos will be published in the international magazine AAP, volume 34, on the subject of forms. They will also receive a free AAP magazine.
- The 2nd winner will receive a cash prize of US$300. Their winning images will be published in the international magazine AAP, volume 34, on the topic of cubes. They will also receive a free AAP magazine.
- The 3rd winner will receive a cash prize of US$200. Their winning images will be published in the international magazine AAP, volume 34, on the topic of cubes. They will also receive a free AAP magazine.
- The first three winners will benefit from a permanent exhibition of their work on the All About Photo online library.
- The next 17 winners (between 4 and 20) will have their best photos published in AAP Magazine Vol.34.
- The versatile photo contest is a great opportunity to advance your career on the international scene.
- This is an international networking opportunity for all photographers.
- The photographer will be revealed in the international press. They can also gain international media recognition by sharing their work.
What size and format should I upload photos in?
- No watermark.
- Saved in JPEG or JPG format.
- 72 dpi resolution.
- Configure grayscale or RGB.
- Layers should be flattened. Digital files cannot exceed 2 MB.
- The longest dimension cannot exceed 1200 pixels, with a minimum size of 200 pixels.

- The visual/emotional impact of the image
