Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.
Job Summary Office Cleaner Job at Islamic Relief Worldwide for High School Graduates:
To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in a variety of settings including offices and guest house:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types of the IRW Guest Houses as per the IRW officially premises.
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures of the Guest Houses.
- Emptying trash cans, cleaning the guest house furniture, and ironing the clothes.
- Washing and drying guest houses room windows.
- Liaising with the line Supervisor to ensure that you always have sufficient cleaning products.
- Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
- Informing the line Supervisor of repairs that need to be done.
- Cleaning rooms and organizing of each room of guest houses, based on IRW officially premises.
- Any other cleanliness tasks which are assigned by line supervisor.

- Basic education, ability to read and write
Work Experience:Â
At least 2 years’ experience of working in official environment.
